Understanding the Times & Season We are Living in – Part 2

If every Christian believer becomes conscious of how close we are to the return of Christ and how useless their accumulated wealth would become immediately after the rapture, they will be willing to use their wealth to further the gospel Jesus Christ and to take care of the poor and the needy, thus laying up treasures for themselves in heaven. Ministers of God will also be able to discern the most profitable projects to invest on as we await the arrival of the Bridegroom. They will not be channeling the limited resources available on long term projects while many members of the church are struggling daily to feed their families. We are in the last church age of the Laodicea where the church has nothing else to boasts of but riches and material wealth. It’s time for the genuine ministers of God to wake up from slumber, seek God for understanding of the times and season we are living in and then begin to preach and to do what early Apostles of Christ did that resulted to revival.

As Bible Scholars we all agree that ‘all the signs’ of the second coming of Christ have been fulfilled. If all the signs are already fulfilled why then has the rapture not taken place? The truth is that God will not delay the rapture of the Bride of Christ for a moment immediately all the signs are fulfilled. Going by the list of the signs given by Jesus Christ to His disciples in Matthew 24, we can conclude that 99% of the signs of the return of Christ have been fulfilled. The only sign yet to be fulfilled (which represents just about 1% of the signs) is directly connected to the time of departure of the Bride of Christ and it has to do with rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and reinstitution of the daily sacrifices which will later be desecrated by the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation. The desecration of the third Jewish Temple is what the Lord Jesus Christ refers to as the abomination of desolation.

According to Daniel 9:25-27, 8:9-12, 2Thessalonians 2:1-12 and 1Thessalonians 5:1-3, the Antichrist will emerge as a false Messiah and will achieve a false peace through an agreement he will sign with the world leaders, leading to one world government. The Israeli-Palestinian agreement will be central part of the peace agreement and this will allow for the building of the third Jewish temple. After taken control of the world government, he will enter into the Jewish temple to stop the worship of the living God and demands to be worship as God (this is the abomination of desolation).

However, before he begins to unleash terror on those who will not accept his Mark or worship his image, the rapture will take place according to verse 7 of 2Thessalonians chapter 2. The anointing and the grace of God in the lives of the Bride of Christ will prevent the manifestation of the Antichrist’s wickedness until they are rapture (taken out of the way).
